VALUABLE LAND FOR RENT

John A. Hivley & S.B. Counts

By virtue of decree of the Circuit cort of Roane county, W.Va., made and
entered in the above styled cause, at the November Term 1886, therefore The
undersigned one of the special commissioners appointed for the purpose will,
on the
25 day of March, 1887

that being a day of the Circuit court of said county, at the front door of the
Court House of said county, offer for rent the 59 1/4 acre tract of land in
the bill and proceedings of said cause mentioned, being the Land of the
Defendant, John H. Hiveley, to the best bidder for the least number of years
not exceeding five, for an amount sufficient to pay off and discharge the sum
of $68.87 and $1.90 cost at law, found by the said court, to be due and owing
the Plaintiff, R.B. Fields from said defendant together with the interest
thereon from the 9th day of December, 1886 and the costs of the suit. Said
land is situate in Harper dist. and is in a good state of cultivation, for
further description reference is made to the papers of the cause.

TERMS OF RENTING: One half the first year's rental price, therefor, to be paid
at the expiration of six months, from the day of renting, and the other half
at the expiration of the said first year, and the residue, if any, in equal
annual payments from the commencement of each annual rental period, taking
from the rentor notes or bonds with good security for the rental payments as
foresaid.
